I liked your article about double standards and noticed the “many reasons to oppose Ron Paul” statement.

I figured that you may not have all the data available; Which is usually the case for those who oppose, so I decided to give you an alternative view point. If you would like to refute or any further clarification, I would be happy to oblige. I Am Not Your Enemy.

As A Member Of The Armed Services I Took The oath To Defend The Constitution Against All Enemies Foreign And Domestic. I Take This Oath Very Seriously. I Can Assure You There Is A Greater Threat On The Domestic Front At This Point Than Any Percived Threat From Abroad.

Bad Things Are Approaching That Have Little Chance Of Being Averted Unless Ron Paul Is Successful In His Bid For The Presidency.

I would hope that you have attained a greater understanding of just how grave the situation currently is. Please do what you can to insure that Ron Paul is Elected.

I hope we can save the republic. The Message Is More Important Than The Man. Do Not Get Caught Up In Idyllic Goals; One Man Can Not Wave A Magic Wand To Change It All. He Is About Phasing Out And Giving Alternatives.

Did Pat Robertson actually blame Americans for 9/11? I do not recall it.

JERRY FALWELL: And, I know that I'll hear from them for this. But, throwing God out successfully with the help of the federal court system, throwing God out of the public square, out of the schools. The abortionists have got to bear some burden for this because God will not be mocked. And when we destroy 40 million little innocent babies, we make God mad. I really believe that the pagans, and the abortionists, and the feminists, and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU, People For the American Way - all of them who have tried to secularize America - I point the finger in their face and say "you helped this happen."

PAT ROBERTSON: Well, I totally concur, and the problem is we have adopted that agenda at the highest levels of our government. And so we're responsible as a free society for what the top people do. And, the top people, of course, is the court system.

Many of Robertson's views mirror those of the evangelical activist Jerry Falwell, who made frequent appearances on The 700 Club. He agreed with Falwell when Falwell stated[25] that the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks were caused by "pagans, abortionists, feminists, gays, lesbians, the American Civil Liberties Union and the People For the American Way."

After public outcry regarding the dialog, which was conducted via television monitor and took place only days after the attacks, Robertson claimed that his earpiece was malfunctioning, and that he was unaware of what he was agreeing with at the time.

Thank you Frank IBC and RWC. While the excuse of Mr. Robertson resounds weak and far beneath Mr. Falwell's many public apologies for his words, it probably is enough politically.

I notice that whenever I put the cursor in the "Enter Hippolink" box, it starts off with an initial space that I have to delete. Is that something Bloggie is doing, or IE?

And could that be why Annie (?) was getting those "how come your entering nothing?" error messages last week?

Frank - I don't remember who it was (gutterfiend maybe), but I suggested that, and it was the same thing. It only happens to me sometimes, and I haven't paid enough attention to figure out why.

It was one of the English or Canadiennes, as I recall.
