I am increasingly troubled at the inconsistencies in the official narrative of 9/11. It’s not just the obvious non sequiturs: where are the aircraft parts (engines, etc) from the attack on the Pentagon? Why have the officials involved in the United 93 flight (which crashed in Pennsylvania) been muzzled? Why did flight 93’s debris spread over miles when it was supposed to have crashed in one piece in a field? Again, I’m not talking about the crazed “research” of David Icke’s Alice in Wonderland and the World Trade Center Disaster – which should send any sane man back to reading the telephone directory.

I am talking about scientific issues. If it is true, for example, that kerosene burns at 820C under optimum conditions, how come the steel beams of the twin towers – whose melting point is supposed to be about 1,480C – would snap through at the same time? (They collapsed in 8.1 and 10 seconds.) What about the third tower – the so-called World Trade Centre Building 7 (or the Salmon Brothers Building) – which collapsed in 6.6 seconds in its own footprint at 5.20pm on 11 September?…

Journalistically, there were many odd things about 9/11. Initial reports of reporters that they heard “explosions” in the towers – which could well have been the beams cracking – are easy to dismiss. Less so the report that the body of a female air crew member was found in a Manhattan street with her hands bound. OK, so let’s claim that was just hearsay reporting at the time, just as the CIA’s list of Arab suicide-hijackers, which included three men who were – and still are – very much alive and living in the Middle East, was an initial intelligence error…

Let me repeat. I am not a conspiracy theorist. Spare me the ravers.

Allahpundit piqued my curiosity with his link to Robert Fisk's latest screed at the Independent, wherein he claims to be unable to find answers to many questions about the 9/11 attacks. Don't call me a conspiracy theorist, he says, and "spare me the plots", but he implores Karl Rove to tell him about how the Bush administration created the reality of 9/11. But spare him the plots, of course.

This puzzles me, because Robert Fisk claims to be a journalist, and one would expect a journalist to understand how to conduct research. Let's see if we can help Mr. Fisk with his questions, which unfortunately get spread throughout a paranoid harangue.

Did someone mention Robert Fisk and Truth in the same sentence?

John Malkovich knows exactly what should be done with this Nazi subhuman scumbag POS.

On the "melting steel" issue - obviously there was none (nor did there need to be any) prior to collapse. But I've also seen sporadic rumours of "molten steel" in the wreckage in the days, weeks and months after the collapse. I guess this could be three things:

1) The usual hearsay BS.
2) Confusion over the meaning of "molten", i.e., "solid but glowing (red hot)" vs. actual liquid metal
3) Use of the term "steel" when the metal is not actually known - and these metals - aluminum, etc. - could have a lower melting point than iron.
4) The fires in the pile of rubble could have gotten steadily hotter, exceeding the temperatures that occured while the buildings were still standing.

And the other issue which I know is just hysterical gibberish, but for which I don't have a "Nekama Hammer" - the alleged hasty removal and destruction/recycling of the steel and other materials from the pile of rubble, supposedly as part of a cover-up. Can anyone help me on this?

What about the 11-fold increase in put options leading up to the day relating to airline companies involved?
What about Bush’s brother being in charge of security until the final day when the contract ended?
Where is the plane parts from the plane hitting the Pentagon or the one that crashed?
Why was all the steel from the towers shipped off to China without the chance for forensic examination?
Why can’t we see the videos of the plane hitting the Pentagon?
Why were all such videos confisgated by the FBI and still not released?
What about the explosions heard by many witnesses inside the towers before they fell?
What can possibly be so secretive about a plane hitting the Pentagon?
Why was Bin Laden’s plane allowed to fly during the no fly restrictions following 911 when nobody else could?
Why would anyone calling his mother by mobile phone from the stricken plane introduce himself as “Mark Bingham”?
Why are at least 6 of the hijackers still known to be alive and well?

About the alleged female crew member, allegedly left lying out in the open with her hands tied behind her back, that certain, unamed somebodies, according to Fisk, stumbled over:

1. Who are the persons who found her, and where can we get a copy of the report of her body being found? Where was it discovered? Who found it? Surely since the TNR scandal, Mr. Fisk should realize anonymous report from anonymous eyewitnesses just don't cut it right now.

2. How likely is it that evil conspirators, who managed to pull off a plot to bring down the Twin Towers and enlist thousands of co-conspirators in their cause, would slip up by carelessly leaving a crew member's body lying around? "Fred, you were supposed to get rid of that dame!" "Oooops, I forgot!"

3. Is the woman's body supposed to have fallen out of a plane? How could this happen? Bodies usually don't just fall out of planes. Airplanes aren't like pirate ships----you can't be forced to walk a plank off them. And why would the evil minions of Chimpybushhalliburtonrove have tossed hers out? Why wouldn't they just her be reduced to ash, with the other intended victims? Are we supposed to believe this one, plucky stewardess put up such a Modesty Blaise battle they had to throw her compleately off the airplane?

Furthermore, even if such a body did miraculously survive the crash intact (which I doubt), it proves nothing. It could have been the Mo Atta and company who tied her up. Or did the body come with a sign pinned to her blouse saying something like, "CHIMPY DID IT!"

If the bound stewardess were on the plane at the time of impact, wouldn't she have been blown aprt like everybody else, in the explosion? I mean, c'mon----a woman's body in a recognizable uniform, with recognizable rope tying her hands surviving such a conflagation? Are we really supposed to believe this?

4. Yes, I guess we are.

These people are so terrified of the Islamist threat, they'll think up any excuse not to believe it.

Also. . .

If they found enough of this unfortunate lady to know that she was a crew member, they certainly know her name, etc. Why don't they identify her? Why hasn't her family come forward, to demand justice, or to find out what really happened? Why isn't Fisk plastering her name and face all over his website, demanding justice?

And if such a body was actually found, can we see the Coroner's Report?

('Cuz she's actually just an urban legend? That'd be my guess.)
