Iranians attacked American troops in Iraq...in September, 2006

Captain's Quarters was the first place where I saw a US News & World Report article about more unrepaid Iranian favors. In Iraq, a platoon of Iranian soldiers tried to detain Americans patrolling the border, and they shot at them when the Americans retreated. I'm sure they weren't shooting to miss. The revelation only raises more questions, such as: What's wrong with calling in air strikes on the motherfuckers? Why are we only now finding out about this? It happened in September.

Civis Americanus Sum...that's my favorite joke.

Uncle Sam and John Bull are either totally feckless or incredibly patient. Just put it on Iran's ever-growing bar tab, I guess.
