Can you actually stay in a house with 1 meter WIDE by 10 meters TALL?
A house calls attention in Madre de Deus, Brazil; it have three floors and even the builder had faith in what he built. Helenita, the designer and the owner of the house who is now living happily inside.
Granted, as the commenters noted it looks to get wider in the back. But still, heck no.
It would have to get wider than one meter, I doubt she sleeps in a single bed.
There's a house in the town of Bernkastel, on the Mosel near where I used to live, that bills itself as the narrowest house in Germany. The part that faces the Hauptmarkt is about a meter wide, but it widens to about three meters at the back, and also the upper floors are wider than the ground floor. It's built in a triangular-ish shape where two roads meet the square.

I want one.
It would probably drive me crazy, too, but it's very creative! I was surprised at how cozy some of the inside pictures looked. I hope RIP sees this.
WTF?
Land prices in Brazil can't be that bad, right?
I guess it's all relative.

It was originally built as a house, but it's a wine restaurant now.
Cool photos, RIP, I had a feeling you would know of similar houses!
This guy builds birdhouses in the shape of the Spitzhäuschen
The house in the article looks like it would be easy to clean. I could live in it.

7' wide and 350 square feet.
It was probably an alley at some point.
I've read about houses like that, that were created from what used to be alleys.
Every one I've known of is in the DC area.

I probably couldn't take the small space but I love it, it's so whimsical.
That would work as a guest house, but I can't imagine living in a three-story hallway for very long.
They look very cute, but only from the outside. I would hate living in one of them.
