Murtha is a waste of time, and space, and only the same sort of pork-barrel funding for his district that the Dems decried as a GOP tactic, this last election, has kept him as a member of congress.
One of the old, rust-belt cities that was hit hard by the reduction in US heavy industry, and is both corruption and union ridden.
So long as Murtha continues to deliver pork, he could probably be re-elected in the face of anything short of a video-taped murder.

Murtha's been a crook for a long time, and only escaped Abscam by the skin on his ass. Just because you served in the military does not make you forever pure. That includes me. Why, you can be an outright traitor and still get elected to the Senate....even run for President. No one who cannot kick a football should be allowed to even think about running for any office:)
