Rough translation:

If muslims want to stay they should rip out half of the koran and throw it away. They also shouldn't listen to the imam. That is what Geert Wilders, leader of the Freedom Party, said Tuesday in an interview.

According to him, there are "plenty of horrible things" in the holy book of the muslims. Wilders states again that islam is a violent religion. "If Muhammed lived here today, I would propose to chase him as extremist with tar and feathers out of the country".

(I missed a few paragraphs after an ad)

The politician wants to impress upon people that islam is "the greatest danger that is threatening us". Other parties avoid these themes according to him. "Everything we are proud of we sell to the devil. Old Mossad chief Efraim Halevy says the Third World War has started. I wouldn't quite say it the same way, but it's correct", says Wilders who previously stated his fear of a 'tsunami of islamization in the Netherlands'.

Wilders: "Walk on the streets and you see where it's leading. You feel you don't live in your own country anymore. There's a struggle going on and we have to defend ourselves. There are in the future more mosques than churches!".

The correct message for the PC, multi-culti West. But twenty years to late for Yurp (with the possible exceptions of Britain and Italy)- the outcomes of the Euro-Arab Dialogue are too far advanced now. It's either dhimmitude, conversion or death.

Nonsense, the system can self-correct in record time. Pim Fortuyn's party became second largest from nothing. Wilders OTOH is a longtime regular politician, a dissident from the "conservative" VVD party because he was unconditionally opposed to the entry of Turkey (as the majority of the voters) to the EU. His party went from one to nine seats last November, and became the fifth largest party, beating the popular green-left party (number 6) in one fell swoop. All parties that won seats were opposed to the entry of Turkey and vice versa!!!

The official leader of the VVD, a weak compromise figure by the party establishment, got less votes than the number 2 on the list, the minister for Immigration and Integration, "Iron" Rita Verdonk, despite a leftist campaign aided by the media to demonize her. That was also a first in Dutch politics, where the top candidate of a party usually gets 99% of the votes.

Surely if the correction is not sufficient there will be a civil war which we shall win.

An elderly dutch cousin of mine (now deceased) had said that the dutch had sold their prosperity when they didn't protect the jews against the nazis. Most of the jews were in the diamond business and after the war those that survived either left or didn't return to the Netherlands. Now it seems that the dutch have sold their culture and nation for socialism and cheap labor. With the death of Theo Van Gogh and the subsequent non-response to the outrage it, the dutch have shown that they are pretty much consigned to the dust-bin of history.

Holland is fucked. And it deserves it.

If they try to do anything to get rid of Muslims, I would bet the Muslims blow up the dikes, and it will make Katrina look like a kiddie pool.

Earl,

Outside of Eastern Europe, it seems that the ONLY nation showing ANY backbone is Denmark.

You can write off both the UK and Italy.

Christianity will have to learn to live with the fall of Rome as it learned to live with the fall of Constantinople.

Gee, why do I bother.

On 2006-11-22 a new anti-islamization party is the second largest winner in the first election after the murder of Theo van Gogh (2004-11-2). All pro-Turkish, pro-EU parties lose seats. All anti-Turkish, anti-EU parties (among them the largest winner) gain seats.

One must be in complete denial (or a bedwetting genius) to call that a non-response. What did you expect, a military coup as in some godforsaken southern european country?

A military coup would be a good start. It's not like Holland is a democracy, it's an EU Socialist dictatorship. You'd just be switching to a homegrown bunch of dictators.

I dunno. Oswald Mosely? Enoch Powell? Chavvers who make the Droogs look like pansies? Blighty's a mess, no doubt, but I'm not writing it entirely off yet (pace, Melanie Phillips- you may yet be vindicated).

Holland's toast. france is toast. Same with Krauterland. Buh-bye, Espana. Sweden is lost. Anecdotally, our rellies are leaving the NL in droves. Denmark? Too small to make much difference.

#11 Mozart or Valhalla at 12:56 pm on Feb 13, 2007

Hot off the press: a plan to blow up Wilders, his security detail and public with 500-600 kg of explosives in a white van has been foiled last week after an anonymous tip.

A coup attempt might in fact not be far off if such an attack would take place. After Fortuyn's murder leftwing politicians in The Hague feared for their safety when mobs appeared to attack parliament.

Were the usual suspects involved, M o V?

Yes, those damned Mennonites from the Dutch biblebelt in the Veluwe are at it again.

This has become a black day for Dutch democracy for a second reason: two socialist thieves have been installed as part of the new government, one as finance minister and one Moroccan as junior or assistant minister for Social Affairs (i.e. paying extra welfare to his unemployed people who are plotting attacks or who are in prison, like Bouyari). The term is staatssecretaris, but the literal translation (secretary of state) is not correct. A minister can have one or two of them, if it's an important one (Social Affairs has two I think).

#14 Mozart or Valhalla at 3:50 pm on Feb 13, 2007

It gets infinitely worse.

The Turk Nebahat Albayrak, who thinks that research still has to be done about the Armenian genocide (a standard argument used by denialists), is going to be state secretary of Justice.

At least the Christian Democrat party had the decency to remove all their Turkish genocide deniers from their candidate list (who were rewarded with the title of "honorary parliamentarian" by the Turkish parliament; see the october 15 entry for more details).

The Socialists, however, put one in the Justice Department.

It's bad enough that the Moroccan will rob us blind further, but the Turk humiliates and undermines our system and ethics the most.
