As an aside, it tells you something of the times we live in when, after reading the beginning of lady red's comment in the sidebar (before seeing the title), I was bracing myself for something about a town found to be over mass graves.
Having lived a number of years in the Bay area, this is old news to me. I thought everyone knew this.
Then again, I am a treasure trove of useless information.
