Really, if Moslems do boycott this airline, I suspect it's actually going to start making more money, as people will think it's safer than other airlines.
(Oh, this guy also claims that 1,200 Moslems died on 9/11. Apparently, the game now is they're going to try appropriating September 11 for themselves.)
We don't fly often, which is too bad. I would fly US Air even though I find their service to be less than desirable. Oh, they're trying to buy Delta, so if they do, they'll control a lot of the traffic up and down the East Coast.
Well the boycott would work to get me onto US Air if I were flying somewhere they flew. Our next trip is to Kazakhstan, and I don't think US Air goes quite that far. They do partner with Luftshansa, which is one of 3 airlines that does go there, though.

Perhaps we should play this up. Like the increase in purchase of Dutch products.

US Air used to be Allegheny, right? But what ever happened to Piedmont, the airline I used to fly to my brother's wedding with a connection in Charlotte?

Well, besides the 19 hijackers, IIRC, there was an Indian immigrant named Mohammad supporting a wife and baby working at Windows on the World.
So we're up to at least 20.

I think Eastern, went it went bankrupt, was folded into Continental Airlines, as Frank Lorenzo was involved in both airlines.
Sorry- my mistake. I know all of Eastern's physical plant (if that's the right term, the buildings, terminal space etc) was taken over by US Air where we live. We're almost all US Air here, with Continental, United, Delta, etc having a few gates each, while US Air has an entire terminal and a half.
Shahin of the Tucson Islamic Center said ... no genuine member of Islam would do such a thing.
Why, yes, and no genuine member of Islam would suicide bomb a mosque, or a market full of muslims, or well, never mind, I guess.
Does this idiot think we are completely blind?
Or is he really such an incredible, paranoid fool that he actually believes Mossad and the CIA is doing all this just to make that wonderful religion of piss er, peace, look bad?

I thin US Air might actually benefit from this boycott.

Did anyone see that fake commercial for a new airline that racial profiles for young, Islamic men on Saturday Night Live? Hilarious.
Well, just don't try to fly Midwest Airlines with a dog, then. They have earned my everlasting ire.

I think Piedmont was also bought by US Air, as were Eastern, Allegheny and all the little regionals up and down between Phila. and Florida.

After Tina Fey's departure, SNL does seem to have a more balanced take on things (with all the usual caveats, of course).

I saw that earlier today. This guy is a class act all the way around. Nothing but the finest stock. Stock asshat that is.
