'An ideology of hatred, terror and anti-Semitism'

Israeli Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz said that Iran finances Hizbollah with some $100 million a year. That's not counting the $10 million Iran provided to Islamic Jihad last year, a $5 million increase from the year before. Iran says it only gives "moral support" to Palestinian terrorists, like tea and sympathy except in their case it's bombs and weapons.

Speaking at the Herzliya conference, an annual gathering of politicians and academics, Iranian-born Mofaz said he knew a large portion of the Iranian people did not support President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad's ideology.

Mofaz addressed the Iranian people saying: "Ahmedinejad, his hallucinatory statements, his criminal actions and his extreme views will bring disaster upon you. Do what you understand needs to be done in order to prevent this."
Ahmedinejad spells Iran's disaster

From the article:

Israel's Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz warned the people of Iran on Saturday that their president would bring disaster and suffering upon them if he continued to call for the destruction of the Jewish state.

I think it's a safe bet that if he forces Israel's hand, Ahmadinehitler will bring disaster and suffering to far more than just the Iranians.

Fascinating. Mofaz is really turning up the heated rhetoric in recent days, isn't he? I hope this means action soon in Iran.

The State Department, reacting negatively to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's meeting in Damascus with leaders of two militant Palestinian groups, said Friday neither Iran nor Syria can proclaim themselves champions of the Palestinian people.

The claims are "clearly bankrupt and hollow," said State Department spokesman Sean McCormack, citing Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas as calling for foreign governments to stop their support for Palestinian rejectionist groups.

In fact, McCormack said, Abbas has called for Damascus to close down the headquarters of these groups, including Islamic Jihad.

"This is one more example of the Iranian regime being out of step with the trends in the region," McCormack said.

"The very words of the Palestinian leader prove that the stated claims of the Iranians and Syrians as championing the Palestinian people are clearly bankrupt and hollow." McCormack said.

The more I see from this guy, the more I think that's exactly his intent.

I was talking more about the Israelis, who, if they go to the Samson Option, would retaliate against more than just Iran and the Arabs.

You're up early MMax.

I pray that Israel has the will to take out Iran's nuke sites. No one else, including us, will do it.

Floranista:

We have tried desperately for 65 years to avoid a second Shoah. We have failed. The Jew-hatred is back worse than ever. There are now 10x as many Nazis. They have nukes. They are suicidal, and willing to let 200 million, even 500 million die to wipe out 14 million Jews. Nothing else matters to them.

We cannot fight such pathological, genocidal, all-consuming hatred when outnumbered 100-1.

Hashem has abandoned us. It is therefore up to use to avenge this planet and end this charade called "civilization".

Israel, when the end comes (it is when, not if) must take it upon herself to take the whole world down with her -- a nuke on Moscow would do it -- Putin would do the rest.

A world where Israel does anything less would be too horrible to contemplate:

1) The surviving Israelis would be butchered by the Islamonazi animals, even as they die slowly from cancer and radiation sickness.

2) Muslims in Europe and Latin America would be given free reign to exterminate the Jews in those countries. This would be done with the full blessing (and even help) of native populations

3) Even in safe countries like the USA, terrorism and oil blackmail would be used to force us to round up Jews and deport them to the Middle East for extermination.

4) The UN, OIC and EU would declare Judaism and gutter religion, and force the destruction of everything that had to do with Judaism --every synagogue, every shul, every headstone in every cemetery. History would be rewritten to make Jews the cause of every evil. Hitler and Ahmadinejad would become not only great world heroes, but prophets, possibly even gods.

Surviving Jews would be living like rats, a sewer-like existence in the shadows, while the exterminators wait at the mouseholes for them to come out.

Israel cannot let the surviving Jews meet such a fate. If Hashem has condemned us to extinction, then we must be sure that our fate is everybody else's fate.

Mofaz addressed the Iranian people saying: "Ahmedinejad, his hallucinatory statements, his criminal actions and his extreme views will bring disaster upon you. Do what you understand needs to be done in order to prevent this."

Is there anything possible for Iranians that they didn't try to do? Haven't we had enough students' uprising, demonstrations, workers' strike, outlawed cities, executions and death by stoning or torture in Iran for the last 25 years.

Recently many Iranian opposition groups from a very broad range inside and outside Iran wrote a letter to UN and asked for a 'national referendum' in Iran under the supervision of 'international community'. The idea is that if Iranians can vote freely and mullahs can't rig the election, it's very obvious that 90% of Iranians will vote to a secular form of government and the story of Mullahs is over. What happened to that request and why it didn't make it to UNSC?

Many countries just don't want middle east to succeed. France has no interest in a stable Iraq. UK and Germany have no interest in a 'democratic' Iran or a peaceful Israel.

How do you think the Ayatollahs get their financial support? The Oil! And Who buys this oil? Which European companies are extracting gold from Iranian mines? It's all public information. Just call EU public relations in Brussels. And while bigel is prophesying a total destruction, these guys are running countless businesses with mullahs in billions and billion of $ which goes to swiss and canadian banks to be used for giving away to Syria and Hezbollah. And that, will render Mr. Mofaz's warnings to Iranian people as redundant.

Now, let's imagine Iranian people didn't do their best to defeat mullahs, then there is no reason to believe it would be possible one day with this present situation. So this is a good reason to stop hoping Iranians will one day solve their internal problems and start helping them shake the society in order to get something out of it, hopefully.

Guess who doesn't take Iran threat seriously. At the Herzliya Conference:

Israeli panelists, including politicians and military experts, sounded alarmist views on Iran's growing nuclear stature and expertise, and said military action to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear bomb is a viable option. Their European counterparts, however, generally expressed less concern, preferring the diplomatic track and opining that an attack on Iran would likely not be effective.

"We are just at the beginning of a long confrontation and we must keep our heads cool," said Phillipe Errera, the deputy director for the French Foreign Ministry's center for analysis and prevision. The path of "defeatist" attitudes, he said, was causing people to look at the Iran situation in the extremes - either accepting the pariah country as a nuclear force or rushing to a military solution.

"We have moved a good way forward since 2003," Errera said. "Multilateralism may be maddening and slow but it is indispensable."

Sir Michael Quinlan, a consulting senior fellow at the International Institute for Strategic Studies, went a step further, saying that even if Iran went nuclear, attacking it would not be the correct move. A military option would not prove sustainable in the long-run, he said, adding that the prospect of "Iran using a nuclear bomb on Israel is absurd. Although, I can say that sitting safely in the UK."
