Gaza is facing a major health crisis as hospitals are running out of medicines, and there is a shortage of everything, from disposable needles and adhesive tape to cancer and dialysis drugs. All eyes are turned to Israel and America, of course, the big bad meanies who are withholding aid and are letting Palestinian people die: supply shortages spark health crisis in Gaza
Israel is criticized for not opening the Karni checkpoint as much as it should (everytime there's a security alert, they close the checkpoint, silly Israelis) and therefore not allowing the passage of goods in Gaza or the passage of terrorists in Israel, and America is criticized for being harsh with Hamas and not giving them the money they're entitled to as official sponsors of terror.
Conspicuously absent is any mention of Gaza's other neighbour, one would think that the Karni checkpoint is Gaza's only contact with the outside world. Why doesn't Egypt help? Can't they send in medical supplies and needed drugs? We hear about the Arab brotherhood, the Muslim brotherhood, I would think that there'd be a few Egyptian doctors who'd fill up their cars with cases of antibiotics and syringes and drive over to help those brothers.
Anyway, I think someone should complain to Hamas about all this.
