One Bush, Two Bush, Three Bush, Four
A 3rd President Bush? First 2 All for It. Wow, George Bush and George Bush supporting Jeb Bush for President? Shocka!
Could there be a third President Bush? The current chief said Wednesday that younger brother Jeb would make a great one, too, and has asked him about making a run. The first President Bush likes the idea as well.

Jeb Bush, the Republican governor of Florida, has one asset that his presidential brother doesn't right now — approval from most of his constituents. While George W. Bush's approval ratings are in the low 30s, some 55 percent of Florida voters surveyed last month by Quinnipiac University said Jeb was doing a good job.

The governor has repeatedly said he won't be a candidate for president in 2008, but that doesn't stop his family from encouraging him to go for it some day.
So does anyone think he'll run? And if so, would he win?

The Chechen Network
Although almost all of France’s terrorism suspects are either French-born or immigrants from North African, Judge Jean-Louis Bruguière, France's leading terrorism investigator suggests that the most serious threat to France comes from the Chechen Network, a shadowy group which security services uncovered while investigating Islamists' efforts to recruit French nationals for the war in Chechnya. But is there really a Chechen Network?
The term “Chechen” figures in almost every reference to the current case. Judge Bruguière and others speak of “the Chechen Network,” while their detractors refer to it as “the Chechen Trace.” Judge Bruguière claims that Chechnya serves as the main training base for Islamist militants, having replaced Afghanistan in this regard. Bruguière describes the “Caucasian problem” as “a true international problem because the majority of the Chechen cause has been hijacked by al-Qaida” (AP, 9 December 2004).

According to the judge, Chechnya serves as “an aircraft carrier” for Islamists “to continue the fight against the West” (CNN, 13 May 2003). At times Bruguière ascribes to the Chechen rebels powers worthy of a James Bond villain; in 2004 he told the New Yorker magazine that Chechens were training Islamists how to hijack satellites, enabling them to shut down communications, power grids and Western defense networks (New Yorker, 2 August 2004).

Judge Bruguière’s emphasis on the Chechen aspect of the current trial has filtered down to the media. An Associated Press headline announced “Chechen Rebel Trial Opens in Paris” (21 March 2006), even though not a single Chechen is among the accused. Olivier Dupuis, an outspoken member of the European Parliament, has questioned Judge Bruguière’s continued use of the term “Chechen network” in a case involving only EU citizens. The MP asks whether such “false information” might be “responsible for the growth among EU citizens of feelings of racial hatred, intolerance or even violence towards Chechen refugees living in member countries”.

Jewish and Christian and Muslim clergy
Greece to pay rabbis’ salaries? I hope so. I'm suprised they haven't been all these years, I had no idea.
A Greek Jewish leader wants the government to pay rabbis’ salaries, as it does for Christian and Muslim clergy.

“We believe that rabbis should be paid by the Greek government,” given that the “believers of the Jewish religion are also Greek taxpayers,” said Moisis Constantinis, president of the Central Jewish Board of Greece.

Constantinis said the Jewish community also should be allowed to build synagogues without the approval of Greek Orthodox Church leaders. There are currently 13 synagogues in Greece, but only three operate regularly.
It's shameful that the Jewish community cannot build synagogues without the approval of the Christian church. We have Christians living as dhimmis in Muslim countries and Jews living as dhimmis in the West? Shame.

Our old friend Gheddafi is at it again
Now, forgetting his Jamahirya is supposed to be a Socialist republic, he jumps on the religious ban-wagon with his Islamic West prophecy.
Given what some Arabs end up doing with their dreams, let’s just hope this is just a day-dream!

Where is Ronald Reagan when you need him?

The following are excerpts from a speech by Libyan leader Mu'ammar Al-Qadhafi, which aired on Al-Jazeera TV on April 10, 2006.
Mu'ammar Al-Qadhafi: "Some people believe that Muhammad is the prophet of the Arabs or Muslims alone. This is a mistake. Muhammad is the prophet of all people."

"He superseded all previous religions. If Jesus were alive when Muhammad was sent, he would have followed him. All people must be Muslims."

"The Muslims were enraged by the defamation of their Prophet. But the people who defamed Muhammad were defaming their own prophet, because Muhammad is the prophet of the people in Scandinavia, in Europe, America, Asia and Africa."

"But since the holy texts that they read in Scandinavia are forged and call for hatred, they believe Muhammad is not their prophet."

"We expect to see a picture of Jesus with nuclear bombs over his head, because the nuclear bomb was developed by the followers of Jesus."

"They drew Muhammad surrounded by veiled women, because of the veil worn by Muslim women. We expect them to draw Jesus surrounded by naked women, because the followers... because Christian women are naked."

"In Scandinavia women are naked."

"In any case, the holy texts of the West, of Europe and America, call for hatred, there is no doubt about it."

"This text is corrupt and inhumane."

"The so-called Old Testament and New Testament are neither Old Testament nor New Testament - because both testaments were superseded, and they are forged. They were written by hand hundreds of years after Jesus."

"We have 50 million Muslims in Europe. There are signs that Allah will grant Islam victory in Europe - without swords, without guns, without conquests. The fifty million Muslims of Europe will turn it into a Muslim continent within a few decades.

"Allah mobilizes the Muslim nation of Turkey, and adds it to the European Union."

"That's another 50 million Muslims. There will be 100 million Muslims in Europe. Albania, which is a Muslim country, has already entered the E.U."

"Europe is in a predicament, and so is America. They should agree to become Islamic in the course of time, or else declare war on the Muslims."”
Or wait for the incoming and now unavoidable next “Fascist” dictator to pay you with the only currency you understand?
