I can never figure out what it is, exactly, that the Brits think they are doing with the terrorists they allow to flourish in the middle of London. Do they really think their intelligence value exceeds their menace to British society? Finsbury Park mosque was under surveillance by British intelligence since 1996, and for years compounded upon years, they simply watched and watched while terrorists trained for jihad inside the mosque.
At some point, prudence would commend you to say "OK, we have extracted all useful intelligence; let's shut these guys down". The continuing atmosphere of open jihad incitement among British Muslims shows that it hasn't, and that's bizarre in a post-9/11, post-3/11, post-7/7 world. Excise the cancer, already. And yes, even after 7/7, it's still going on.
The Sunday Times just recorded the imam of the mosque that spawned those murderous demon-yobs who were behind the 7/7 atrocity praising them as martyrs.
When will the British get serious about confronting the menace at home? Tony Blair seems very concerned about youths wearing hoods in shopping areas. Maybe he should pay attention to youths planning to blow his constituents up, too.
The saddest thing, which makes me laugh bitterly, is reading about how Abu Hamza, "the Hook", intimidated, threatened, and bullied
British officials investigating him. These people really feel at home too much. Maybe the UK could take France's salient lesson and start kicking the bums out.
